Prem Dhoj Pradhan was a veteran musician/ singer of Nepal. he was born on 1938 June 6 in Chautara (headquarters), Sindhupalchowk. He was known as the Golden Voice of Nepal & King of Romantic Melodies of Nepal. He was born to his father Ratnadhoj Pradhan and his mother Prandevi Pradhan. His grandfather Utdarhwaja Pradhan was an inspiration for classical music. He was known as Ganesh Dhoj Pradhan in his childhood. He entered the musical field through the inspiration of his mother.

His songs like 'Ghumtima Na Aau Hai', 'Timilai Achel Kahan Dekhun', 'Goreto Yo Gaun Ko',' Par Laijau Phoolhuru' and others are successful songs that always win the hearts of the audience. In the year 2009 BS, Pradhan's musical journey began after he passed the vocal examination in Radio Nepal. He learned to play various instruments and music from Ganesh Lal Shrestha.

When the famous Indian singer Jai Dev came to Nepal, after Premdhoj Pradhan sang a Hindi song in front of him in a very beautiful voice, he got an opportunity to go to Bombay, India and record the song. He was working at the American Library at that time. Before Pradhan, probably no singer from Nepal had gone to India and recorded a song. Premdhoj Pradhan was the first Nepali singer to go to India and record a song.

Prem Dhoj Pradhan was known for being the first Nepalese player to pick up and play the guitar. He was also the first Nepalese singer to collaborate with Indian Playback singer Usha Mangeshkar in 1965 in the film Maitighar. In 1985, he sang a duet with Asha Bhosle in the film Mayalu in Bombay, India. Prem Dhoj has varied his musical style throughout his career and has recorded around 700 songs for Radio Nepal, including live broadcasts and recorded songs.

Premadhoj Pradhan is a singer with a lot of struggle, hard work, perseverance and personality. So he used to work in the American library. He sang Newari, Nepali, and Hindi songs.

He died at the age of 82 on May 6, 2021, in Sundhara, Kathmandu.
