Gulariya Municipality

Gulariya Municipality is the local-level government among the eight local bodies in Bardiya, Lumbini Province, Nepal.  It was established in the year 2073 BS. During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this municipality was established by adjusting the former Gulariya, Mathuradwar, Mahomadpur, and Khairapur Municipalities/village development committees. 

The eastern border of Gulariya municipality is connected with Badhaiyagtal, while the western border is connected with Madhuwan municipality. Similarly, the northern border of Gulariya is connected with Barbardiya Municipality and the southern border is associated with Uttar Pradesh of India, Baharaicha.
