Simba Fall is one of the hidden gem located in Mahankal Gaupalika, near Manikhel of southern part of Lalitpur, Nepal. This waterfall is located in beautiful natural environment. The name of Simba Fall is derived from tamang language. The meaning is “Simba” means “cold,” a fitting tribute to the mountain-fresh water plunging some 300 m through green canopies. Simba Falls is a cluster of five icy cascades tucked into the forested hills of Manikhel. The nearby village of Manikhel is a traditional Tamang settlement perched at over 2,000 m, where terraced farms and distant peaks unfold in all directions and locals welcome visitors with warm hospitality.

Simba Falls is in just 40-50 KM from Kathmandu. Most of the road condition is normal whereas some part is little bad. You can use private as well as public vehicles to reach here.
Route: Ratnapark-Lagankhel - Thecho - Chapagaun - Lele - Bhardeu - Chaughare - Gotikhel - Manikhel Rigin Dobhan - Simba Falls.
