Attarpur was one of the VDC of Sindhupalchowk. These VDC had 9 wards. After the state restructuring, the Attarpur VDC changed to ward no 4 of Lisankhupakhar Rural Municipality.
The eastern border of Attarpur is connected with Jethal village and the Dolakha district. And, the western border is connected with Lisankhu and Bafal. Similarly, the northern and southern borders are connected with Thulo Pakhar and Thulo Dhading respectively.
